CHALLENGE YOURSELF...
Situated half-way between El Morro and the Marietas Islands, in a relatively sheltered area of the outer limits of Banderas Bay, Los Anegados is a popular second dive for certified divers to enjoy after experiencing the deeper descents at El Morro. Full of caves and interesting rock formations, the Los Anegados bank starts at around 30 ft below the ocean's surface, where you'll see an abundance of Tuna, Jacks, bottom dwellers such as rays and eels, and the famous giant manatas found at the Marietas Islands. The highlight of this dive is the chance to see nurse sharks which are often sighted here.

| About Diving with Vallarta Adventure | |
Open Water Certification card and previous dive with Vallarta Adventures - or - 25 logged dives are required to participate on this dive trip. Certified divers who have not dived in the past 12 months will be required to take a refresher course. Non-certified divers can participate in dives at Las Marietas or at Las Caletas; however, they must complete a Vallarta Adventure Discover Scuba pool lesson before the day of their dive.
Certified divers are automatically entitled to participate in 2 tank dives. Non-certified divers will only be allowed a 1-tank dive. Beginner divers dive to a maximum depth of 40 ft and Certified divers up to a maximum of 60 ft. Advanced divers can dive to up to a maximum of 120 ft. Supervision is normally 1 Dive master to 3 diver pairs using the buddy system.
Diving within 24 hours of your flight home is not recommended. An Acknowledgement of Risk will need to be signed before participating in any of our dive programs.
