Surrounded by the blue waters of the Pacific this barnacle covered rock attracts all manner of sea life. Large manta rays, turtles, sharks and dolphins abound and huge schools of Jack tuna circle this tiny island in search of food. This is a great dive site with caves, arches and steep walls to explore. The moderate currents and depths of up to 120 feet make this a dive for small groups of experienced divers only.

Open Water Certification card and previous dive with Vallarta Adventures - or - 25 logged dives are required to participate on this dive trip. Certified divers who have not dived in the past 12 months will be required to take a refresher course. Non-certified divers can participate in dives at Las Marietas or at Las Caletas; however, they must complete a Vallarta Adventure Discover Scuba pool lesson before the day of their dive.
Certified divers are automatically entitled to participate in 2 tank dives. Non-certified divers will only be allowed a 1-tank dive. Beginner divers dive to a maximum depth of 40 ft and Certified divers up to a maximum of 60 ft. Advanced divers can dive to up to a maximum of 120 ft. Supervision is normally 1 Dive master to 3 diver pairs using the buddy system.
Diving within 24 hours of your flight home is not recommended. An Acknowledgement of Risk will need to be signed before participating in any of our dive programs.
